Time capsule

I just bought a time capsule 2tb and was wondering if there is a possibility of a new one coming out anytime soon. Does anyone have an idea, i just don't want to get this one all set up and then have a newer one come out in a few weeks.

Anything is possible. Time Capsule is "overdue" for an update since Apple has released a new one each year more typically in the early part of the year.

Who knows. The iMac and Mac Pro folks continue to wait for their upgrades.

The main thing I am concerned about is the router, if there is an update will the router be greatly improved or will it be a minor upgrade?

802.11ac is still in draft form, finalization and full adoption is a couple years away. So I wouldn't expect Time Capsule to have it any time soon.
