IDK if there available yet? but will i be able to see the HDD as a network drive on a Windows computer?

when time machine is archiving will i notice any performance change in my macbook? or is it quick and doesnt slow the machine?

1. Not available until sometime in February.
2. It's supposed to work with either OS or Windows.
3. No one knows how fast it will work (see 1).
