Hey folks,

Just moved a couple of months ago, and here is fiber cables installed directly into my appartment.

I am currently running 100/100 mbit connection, which works awesome... as long as it is via cable!

My setup is

Wallmount -> Time Capsule

Time Capsule spreads out the internet via wifi and ethernet (as you'd expect). Via ethernet I can speedtest.net my connection to 92 mbit download, and 87 mbit upload. Pretty sweet. Via my iMac and MacBook Pro, the connection is 17 mbit down and 17 mbit upload. That is not satisfying for me, when I have 100/100!!

So, the router is placed three meters from my iMac, and 5 meters from my living room where I use the MBP. The iMac is the all new 27" i7, SSD + 1tb and my MBP is the last generations highest base config (the 2.8GHz C2D, 2 x graphiccards, etc). So I should be pretty equipted.

I'm not a cry baby, and usually it is perfectly fine with "just" 17/17 mbit, but sometimes when I am working with bigger files (uploading 10-15 gb of datasamples, backups, etc.) for customers, it would be nice with the extra speed.

My solution so far is to screenshare my Mac Mini Server (which is plugged into the ethernet in Time Capsule) as it gets all 100/100... but you know, I bought the "best of the best" to get the "best of the best" - so I hate the "Ohh, I just have to do screenshare".

Any help? Time Capsule is 1tb, from december, and running more or less the basic setup, latest software, etc.
