ok every time i use the windows part of my hdd then go back to my osx it will change the time in osx to 4 hours earlier.. it will change back but it takes a bit and its annoying me.. why is it doing this and how can i fix it?

OS X stores time in UTC and just displays that with an offset based on our time zone. Windows expects the time to be stores in your local time zone.

Wait for the internet time sync to take effect or just set your time zone to UTC in Windows.
