Hi,

My time and date has been freezing in the upper right hand corner on my iMac. The date has also been freezing on my iCal icon in my dock. What could be causing this?

Thank you!

I would say that it has something to do with permissions, try resetting...

What happened that led up to the event, we need more specifics than this.

I did install then unistall Megazoomer and SIMBL. The time, date, volume, AirPort, and Bluetooth all freeze up, beach ball of death when I scroll over them. I can access Bluetooth, AirPort, etc. through system preferences, but not from the upper right corner. Any help?

It happens to me too. Did it under 10.3 and 10.4. too... it's nothing new. I don't know why Apple doesn't/can't fix it:mad:

I've noticed for me it has to do with suspend/resume and removable drives... but Im not sure how.

It seems to be happening a lot more often now, basically anytime I restart it will lock up within a hour. It always seems to happen when I bring it out of sleep mode. Anymore insight?

Back-up and re-install, also if that does not work, reset and re-install your firmware....

the latter can be complicated, the genius bar is your friend with this option

It may take time to do the above, but it sounds worth it.

Hope its not your logic board

Will this guarantee that the problem is solved?
Is it either a problem, or not a problem, or could it accure later even if reinstall apperas to have solved it?
