Does anybody know if there is a program that allows the actual date to be displayed instead of just the "Thu 12:20pm"

Instead showing "Thu Dec 13 12:20pm"???

iStat Menu, gives several options to display the date and time...

It also has a lot of other handy utilities that can be displayed on the menu bar
