I'm running 10.8.5 on a 2010 MacPro. Whenever the computer is awakened after sleep, the time and date stay at the time/date when the machine went to sleep. The only way to force the computer to update the date/time is to open Date & Time in System Prefs. There's no need to check or uncheck any box on that system pref...I just need to open the Date and Time system pref pane.

Occasionally (not reproducible), a few seconds after updating the date and time (when I have the Date/Time system pref open), it will go back to the old time and I have to do it again.

I do have "Set Date and Time Automatically" checked, for what that's worth. This has been going on for a couple of months now.

Any help would be appreciated.
