Time for our own band/ face combos

Considering the new way Apple package these things, there’s no reason why we cannot select our own combo of band and face. Price dependant on range of course. But custom colour combos should be feasible.

Considering the new way Apple package these things, there’s no reason why we cannot select our own combo of band and face. Price dependant on range of course. But custom colour combos should be feasible.

The reason they likely won’t do is because its less SKU numbers to manage by offering select bands. The other issue is, Apple introduces and discontinues bands quite regularly during the year, so that would also make it problematic if somebody wanted to select a certain Apple Watch, but that band was no longer available because it was just a limited time offering or color.

That’s the thing. Your money can buy you a combo , that helps with the skus. Example buy a black sg face and a sports band or loop for £429. I have to pick what band accompanies my watch based on stock. This can easily be done
