The date and Time in the taskbar of my MacBook Air isn't showing? Even when I try to install it from System Preferences and desktop. What do I do?

Time in Task Bar not showing

am assuming you mean the menubar? (and not the dock...); you went to system preferences, and clicked on 'show date and time in menu bar'?
try clicking it off, then on again; try changing the appearance (in the general prefs) from light to dark... and back.
try relaunching the finder (under the apple menu: force-quit, finder, relaunch).
and try rebooting your mac...
