Time lapse face permanently stuck at “night time”

So I decided to use the time lapse face for the first time yesterday on my Series 4. Everything was fine and the face gradually changed to match the actual day.

This morning however, it was “night time” on the watch face, where it left off from when I placed it on the charger.

I gave it more than enough time to adjust but it is still stuck at night.

Some things I’ve tried:

• Disabling and re-enabling location services
• Deleting the face and re-adding it
• Hard resetting the watch
• Hard resetting the phone
• Unpairing and repairing both as backup and new

Nothing has worked- the cities are all still stuck in night time.

Apple support is clueless and is having me repeat the steps above to no avail.

Has anyone else had this issue? Any advice on other fixes I can try?
