Hey guys so i tried taking a time lapse video yesterday of me mowing the lawn on my 5s just to try the feature out, I set the phone on a bush and pressed record, after I finished mowing the lawn I went to check the time lapse.

Was disappointed to see it only recorded about the first 2 minutes or so and then I'm guessing phone went to sleep from inactivity,

Any way to stop the phone from going to sleep while taking time lapse videos other than constantly touching the phones screen for it to stay awake?

Well that's not cool. The only time I've tried timelapse was on my iPad to record the same thing, mowing the lawn. I left my iPad plugged in though and set it on the window sill.

Hopefully it was just a glitch that one time for you. I can see it turning the screen off, but to stop recording? Man.. if that's how it's designed.. boo lol

I shot several time lapse videos on my iPhone (using stock camera app) and it never locked itself (and I have auto lock set on 1 minute). Maybe someone called you or so because it does stop recording the video (which is kind of stupid).
I always turn off Airplane mode and hope that no other notification comes up.

Hmm just tried it again and let my phone record my teacher for 5 minutes this time phone didn't turn off...
