time machine + AEBS + NAS

I looked around for the answer to this but couldn't find one.

Can I back up a laptop using Time Machine to a NAS device that is connected wirelessly through an AEBS? I know you can't use an air-disk, but a NAS seems like a more stable device.

Like this...

Laptop --wireless connection-- AEBS --ethernet-- NAS
