Hey all,

Recently I replaced in my HDD with a Seagate Momentus 7200.4. On the old stock drive I used an external drive with time machine as my primary back up system. I want to use the same external drive as I did before for time machine back ups. Have been reading about people having problems with reattaching a time machine drive to a computer with a newly installed hard drive (cloned data). Some say that it sees all the same data as new data and basically copies over the entire hard drive again. I did see one solution of macosxhints but it seems like more trouble than its worth. Has anyone had success reattaching a time machine drive after a drive swap? Thanks!
