Time Machine and new MBA

I have a 13" MBP ( snow leopard )and have it set up with time machine and an external HD.
I have a new 11" MBA that I haven't booted yet.
I understand that when I boot it, it will give me the option to restore from a TM?
If I do this, does it automatically dump all my photos into iphoto and all my music into itunes?
Also, does it transfer my purchased apps from the MBP to my new machine?

You can choose which categories you want restored, but everything you mentioned is possible.
