Time Machine and Old Drive?

Currently on my external hard-drive, I have all of my movies, itunes library and then my user folder (as this is all I want to back up). I'm going to be purchasing Leopard and a new external drive at the same time and here is where my question comes....

I don't have enough space on my tiny MB hard-drive to store my music AND movies so I'd like to keep these on the external drive. Am I able to backup my entire internal hard-drive AND keep my movies and music with Time Machine? If so, how would I go about doing this?

Time Machine can back up two drives, it will work fine.

Oh really! Didn't know that...very useful in that case as now I can have a 'media only' drive. Thanks!
