Hey all, I recently removed my XP Bootcamp partition (15 GB) to create a larger one. When I tried to setup the partition I get prompted to "return my hard disk to a single partition" by completely reinstalling OSX leopard. My question is this, If I have a plugin software (Poduim beta for Sketchup) that has been registered with a no longer available key, can time machine return this application to my freshly reinstalled system without having to reactivate podium? Why can you not simply delete a partition and create another one on the same disk?
Aside- Do you think NTSF or FAT32 is the better format for a windows partition? I need like 40 Gigs of space, I think FAT has a limit lower than that though. Also has anyone had experience with sun's VIRTUAL BOX? Is it "better" than VMWare?
