Time Machine and Sleep

If you're doing your first-time backup via TM, and your Mac is scheduled to sleep after a time, will it be prevented from doing so by the backup process, or do I have to set it for "no sleep"?

You'll need to set it to no-sleep, Time Machine does not interfere with sleep. (However, should your Mac want to sleep, Time Machine will pause the backup and resume when you wake it up)
