I am using Time Machine to create backups of my Mac on a Western Digital hard drive. I can't tell if it is backing up my documents. When I go into Time Machine and search through the backups, I cannot find anywhere that it has backed up my documents. I thought Time Machine backed up everything unless you designate it to exclude certain thins. Did I miss something?
