Hey all,

Just got a quick question, is it possible for me to copy info to my time machine back up disk as a mass storage device on another computer?

My Girl Friends computer is bugging (to the point at which she can't log into it)
so am using my ubuntu CD to start it up and I want to copy all her files to the free space on my time machine back up disk before i reinstall her OS.

However when i try to copy stuff to my back up drive(from her computer running ubuntu live), it gives me a permissions error. I already changed the permission on my drive to read and write but i keep getting the "no write permission" error. Does anyone know how i can fix that problem?

Thanks in advance for all your help...
