Hi,
I am backing up my imac(Intel based)using a new Seagate Backup Plus 2TB.
Our house power suddenly went off then back on but just enough to shut down the
imac. When I restarted it, the Time Machine window showed none for latest backup.

So...what to do ?
The window says it is going to backup again in 1 hour. Should I just wait and let it
do it's thing ? Or something else.

I am doing this because the imac suddenly bent forward and I see that there is a problem
with the spring that holds the moniter up. So I have to take it to an Apple Store. Also I realize
that I should be backing it up anyway.

Appreciate any advise !
Thanks,
Gary in Oregon

Just manually start the backup again. Time Machine will do any necessary clean up with the unfinished backup.
