Hi all,

I am trying to back up my FAT32 drive (shared between OS X and Windows) with Time Machine, but it's listed under "Excluded" in the options. The Windows (NTFS) partition is also listed as "Excluded" but I can remove it by selecting it and pressing "-"

However, the FAT32 drive has the "-" greyed out.

I am trying to back up into an external HD with HFS+ Time Machine partition in it... is there any way to include the FAT32 partition in my backups?

Thanks a bunch!

I don't think there is. I'm not sure though, I think there is something about the HFS+ that allows time machine to work.
