Is it possible to store the Time Machine backup simultaneously, to more than one drive?

yes. in Time Machine preferences, goto Select Disk, and if you already have Time Machine Back-up drive, it will ask you if you'd like to Replace or Use Both...select Use Both.

I have rotating time machine drives and a main always-on/backing up one as well.

In SnowLeopard it doesn't do that! You sure?

Doesn't state anywhere what OS you were using. But you still can, you just have to manual reselect each drive each time you want to perform a back-up.

10.8 and above would allow you to do this no problem.

Can anyone using Snow let me know if thats possible, cause i just don't see it!

Excuse my ignorance, but couldn't you also RAID1 (or whatnot) together two or more disks if you want multiple copies of the backups on different disks?
