Time machine backs-up too often

Hey, I was just wondering if there's a way to reduce the frequency of time machine backups.

I've not seen any mention of it, but I wonder in what ways Snow could improve Time Machine? Certainly giving an intuitive control panel to set the backup frequency would be a start rather than diving into files.
