About 2 years ago, I purchased as 2Tb Time Capsule and backed up my iMac using Time Machine.
Until a few weeks ago, my backups were happening with no issues, then one day out of the blue, I get a 'backup failed' message. I've tried again on several occasions but to no avail.
I've deleted all the backups from my TC and reformatted the disk - tried again yet still I get the message. The annoying part is that sometimes, it will backup 250-300Gb of 354Gb then fail.
I thought at first my TC drive had probably failed but yesterday I managed to simply drag all my photo folders to my TC and left them to copy, which they did successfully and I've since been able to access these from my MacBook.
If the drive hasn't failed, can anyone help me identify what might be causing this (some kind of index, plist or something that needs deleted somewhere) and what I need to do so I can create successful backups again please?
As always, any assistance you can offer would be greatly appreciated.
