Hi all,
A few hours ago I tried to restore my main partition from my TM backup and it said that my startup disk was too small for the restore, which doesn't make any sense to me at all. I am running low on HD space but it should be enough because it is for the most part, a 1 for 1 copy because nothing much changed.
Normally when I try to do a restore, Time Machine takes a few minutes to calculated the space required but this time no time was taken, it just told me that it could not be done.
I have recently added a 1.5TB USB drive for TM whereas in the past I had my 200gb internal HD + external FW800 500GB (not all the space was used) backing up to another FW800 640GB.
Any help would be appreciated, thanks!
