Hi, I've just bought a Windows 8 computer to be using for school.

I sold a MacBook Air, which has been backed up to a Seagate 1TB External since October 2013.

I'm now looking to get my files 'manually' from Time Machines archives on the drive.

I downloaded a HSF+ program, so now, the Mac Formatted External 1TB drive shows up, and I've retrieved files which were stored manually..

But the Time Machine folder is full of backup dates. This is not the problem. When I go into it, and find my old Home Folder, 'SB', some folders are accessible, others are present, but not open-able and listed as 'FILE' format, as opposed to the accessible folders being listed as 'File Folder'.

I've attached a screenshot to show you an example.

Does anyone know what I can do to access these files?
Thanks!
