When I finally get around to setting up an RMA for my broken OCZ SSD, I'll be left once more with a spare 250GB HDD. I originally planned to purchase an enclosure for the drive and attempt to set it up as a back up device. However the SSD broke down before I had gotten around to doing it (it was probably a good thing that I didn't do this right away!).

My question is a basic one-

Will Time Machine work with a normal hardrive put into an enclosure or does the feature only work with Apple's time capsules? I would assume that using a standard HDD would work perfectly, but I'd just like to be sure.

Thanks!

Works with all hfs(+) drives ;)
