Ok, so I am going to be purchasing an iMac and my fiancée already has a MacBook pro, so I wanted to setup an external harddrive (using either two drives or two partitions on the same drive) to use as time machine drives for both of our computers. I know I can use the iMac to share the drive so she can back up wirelessly, but the real issue follows. I HAVE to have my drive and backup encrypted due to the nature of my work, I also want to have the information on her computer encrypted, but I don't know how that is going to work with the back up drive existing on my computer, will that cause any conflicts with my fiancèe's computer accessing the drive to back her information up and restore the info incase of data loss? Thanks again in advance, and I apologize if this has already been covered, I couldn't find that answer in the search. PS I wanted to use filevault2 not a third party solution.
