It's not a terrible bug, but I noticed that if you open Time Machine, select more than 10 items that you want to permanently remove and go to the Utility menu, you will see "Delete All Backups of 10 Items" no matter how many "items" you actually select. The number of items is correct if you select 10 or less items.

As a side note, I discovered this while attempting to clear out some of my newsgroup files. For those of you who download from newsgroups, you know that you download a ton of "*.rar" and "*.par" files but you only care about the final resulting file. If TM happens to run while you are downloading the individual pieces, they will be retained by TM even after you think you have deleted them. This will eat up precious space on your TM drive on files you know you don't ever really want to recover. So I recommend that you periodically go to older TM versions of the folder where you download the newsgroup files to and permanently delete them.

Another (better) option would be to create a unique "Newsgroup Downloads" folder where all the rar & par files get placed and then tell Time Machine not to back up files in that folder.
