Time Machine Cancelled?

So time machine should have been released by now, does anyone know whats going on with it?

You mean Time Capsule! The product that everyone is reporting as either prepping to ship or shipped! The product that was expected today. The product everyone is getting this weekend or Monday.

I wanted to order the Air Port Extreme with my iMac in January but decided to wait and pre-order the 500GB Time Capsule. It has been released as I did get word from Apple today on my shipment--on the way via FedEx directly from Shanghai!

I'm really considering getting Time Capsule, but I want to wait and see what everyone else says about it first. I'm hoping everyone will post on here if they like it or not after a couple weeks.

I just can't justify the purpose. I have a 120 GB external WD Passport and a great Linksys router. I can't justify spending $279 (student pricing) on a 500GB HD with an Extreme Base Station. It isn't expensive, but I just can't justify that purchase.
