Hi all,

I have a MacBook Pro (2.53GHz) currently running Mac OS 10.6.8. I'm hoping to do a format/clean-install of Mac OS 10.9.

Given everyone's knowledge here, I'm hoping someone might be able to answer two questions I had:

1) If I have a Time Machine backup, will I be able to restore all my files once I do this clean-install to the updated operating system? If so, how does this work?

2) I currently have two users on this computer, will Time Machine restore all the files for both users?

Thanks for any information/advice you can offer!

Thanks,
FW

1. OS X: How to migrate data from another Mac using Mavericks - Migration Assistant will come during the install process. It is also in /Applications/Utilities/Migration Assistant.app.

2. Yes if both user users used Time Machine.
