When looking through my past backups, I have found a worrying observation.
Some files have no icon when looking through the past backups. When looking at my computer in its present state, everything looks fine its just the backups that look like this.
Heres a couple of images to show what I mean.
In the first image, some files have a weird box made out of grey dashes as their icon.
On the second image, most of my applications show the generic application icon and not the proper ones.
I don't know if I can trust Time Machine if this is what my backups will be full of, and I presume these files would be unuseable too.
