Hi all, thanks in advance for any help you can offer.
I may have done something I shouldn't have. I had time machine working on my Leopard OSX just fine. I had some problems with the iMac so I was playing around with my external trying various ways to boot from it etc... To make room I took the "Backups.backupdb" file from the external and put it on my macbook.
I now have the computer fixed with a new HD. I put the "Backups.backupdb" back onto the external but when I try to restore with time machine I'm getting errors saying the user can't be created.
I'm guessing I shouldn't have moved the "Backups.backupdb" file and I'm hooped. Hopefully someone has some good news for me.
Thank you!
