I deleted a backup from iTunes, 87 gigs to be exact. The space never came back or reflected in my storage. I remember there was a way to delete this from MobileSync and all that, or doing a time machine snapshot delete would remove this 87 gigs of snapshotted space.

I was doing that, and removed my mac internal drive from being backed up to time machine. I'm out 87 gigs of space from my phone back up that never got deleted and is still snapshotted somewhere. Now I can't access my hard drive I removed from being backed up to.

Is there any way I can get this backup from the internal hard drive to do this again, so I can clear the space? It's not showing up under my "Macintosh HD" and it's only showing "Other AirPort Time Capsule" when I select "select backup disk".

What I'm asking is -- I've used google and can't find a way to get this Internal Hard Drive to appear under my Time Machine backup again, how do I get it back?

Open Time Machine Preferences and select Options bottom right.

Macintosh HD shouldn't be setup as a Time Machine backup disk (think about it, why have your backup on the same disk, it would also give you a circular, ever-growing backup which would consume all your Macintosh HD space), so it should not appear in the list when you "select backup disk" in TM.
