I don't really know what has just happened, so I'll try to explain and hope someone can tell me what's going on.
Today Time Machine popped up to tell me that it hasn't managed to backup for days (to my external harddrive - 500gb) because it had errors or was the wrong format or something (it was working fine a month ago).
So I said okay, and it gave me the option to restore the harddrive, and backup everything again. I did that, then it said "This backup is too large for the backup disk. The backup requires 192.25 GB but only 172.41 GB are available." even though it is a 500gb harddrive.
I thought that's okay I'll fix that later or something, but just now I tried to boot into my Windows 7 partition - and it isn't there!?
Very annoying ..
any ideas or solutions? Is my partition lost forever?
(I'm assuming these two problems are connected, because they both happened just this morning)
