Hey, I had this strange idea to put an extra hard drive in my always running PC to be a network drive that I can back up my Macbook Pro to. I've done a few google searches and can't find a good answer. I want it to function like a Time Capsule, but the hard drive be in my PC and shared over my router. Is this even possible? I figure I'll need some software so that a OSX formatted drive can be read in Windows, but I need to know if I'll be able to share it over the network.

OP -- do you really want to go with an unsupported configuration for a backup of your precious data? [I hope you keep an archive in a safe place and update it frequently if you want to go with unsupported solutions.]
