I have Time Machine set to backup to two drives, a 1TB USB attached drive, and an old MyCloud drive, option set to both so alternating backups.

Just noticed that the last Time Machine Backup to MyCloud Drive was Mar 3rd so all my backups are going to the USB drive.
I just got a notification that the USB drive was full and older Time Machine Backups were being deleted to add new ones.

Both drives appear in Time Machine options, however, I have to delete MyCloud and add it back again.
It then works again for a while until the next time Time Machine loses the connection with MyCloud.

Why is Time Machine losing the connection to the Network drive, and why do I have to keeping adding it back.

Have you found a resolution? I just encountered the same. I have an Airport Extreme set up to function as a Time Capsule. I can access this network disk via Finder, but Time Machine can't connect to it . . . I have tried deleting that back up designation from Time Machine, but when I try to re-add it, Time Machine can't find the network disk . . Have rebooted both the Mac and Airport / Drive, but no luck.

I just keep adding it back to the backup drive list and reconnecting the NAS.

Not sure why the NAS drive keeps disconnecting from Time Machine.

The NAS (Airport Extreme w/ hard drive attached) shows in Finder on my 2 macs, but not in the Time Machine selections . . . Based on some Googling, it appears Apple broke something in the update(s) that happened the other month

I got tired of waiting for an Apple fix and finally decommissioned my ~20 year old AirPort Extreme being used as a Time Capsule . . Purchased a WD EX2 Ultra NAS . . . My Finder see it, Time Machine sees it, so I am happy !

There was something a while ago that provided a solution. It had something to do with disabling something via the Terminal on the Mac, something about signed server packets or something. I'm googling it but can't find what I'm looking for, and it's not in any of my electronic notes.
