I am experiencing the following time machine issue:
When I invoke time machine, the grey bar in the bottom, which should display text labels "cancel" and "restore" or something on the buttons, doesn't show any text in my case. It used to do this correctly. I have 10.5.6 installed - is this a known issue??? Thanks for help!

here's a screenshot

This is what Time Machine looks like for me - note the missing text on the bar in the bottom (no photoshop - straight screenshot !)

Who else has this problem? Who knows how to fix it?

Hey

I've had this happen to me before too. Here's how I got rid of it.

1. Repair Permissions (Go to APPLICATIONS folder, then to the UTILITIES folder, then click DISK UTILITY. Then Highlight MACINTOSH HD on the left sidebar, then click REPAIR PERMISSIONS towards the bottom).

2. Restart your Mac.

That solved it for me.
