Recently, the HD that contains all my Time Machine backups started being goofy and wont work anymore. The HD mounts and works for the most part but OSX keeps telling me that it cant repair the hard drive. So.. I went and bought a 1.5TB Seagate external yesterday. I moved what I could off the old Time Machine HD but the "Backups.backupdb" folder wont transfer from the old HD to the new one. It give an error code of -1426. What should I do?

OSX 10.5.7

What the hell does any of that have to do with moving around Time Machine backup files???

Nothing as it seems.

Those two applications are able to clone an HDD or SSD, and as you simply can't use Finder to copy your whole internal HDD to another (the same with the backups.backupdb folder), I thought it might help.
Should have said so in my first post, but wasn't aware of ... .
