If I browse my Time Machine volume via Finder not the TM interface one of my volumes is listed twice like this:
HDD
HDD 1
They both contain the same files & folders. My guess is that this happened because I had to repartition the physical volume to enlarge one of the two partitions. (Developer preview testing) I used SuperDuper to clone the contents into a sarsebundle image, then back again after the repartitioning. This partition is of the same name but now a tad bit smaller. There must be some kind of hidden file or preference file that tracks the individual volumes that got messed up somehow?
I don't know if TM is using hard links for these files or not, but either way it would be nice to figure out how to resolve this. Anyone out there have any insight?
