I managed to mess a few things up in /System/Library (don't ask... some crappy wifi sniffing software which is incompatible with Leopard) and noticed that the last complete backup of /System/Library was back on the 7th.
Every backup since then has been missing directories from A* to E* in that directory.
So instead of getting Automator, BridgeSupport, Caches, CFMSupport etc I just get everything starting with an F onwards. So I get Filesystems, Filters, Find, etc but nothing alphabetically before that.
Anyone else had this kind of problem? I find it difficult to trust a backup system that I can't predict
