Time Machine & iPhoto

I have quite a few photos in the iPhoto app. What I want to know because I am not sure, if I hook up time machine and would the time machine back up all my photos in the iPhoto app or not? I thought I had read that it doesn't.

Yes, by default Time Machine backs up the entire drive including photos in iPhoto.

You photos are kept in /YourHardDrive/Users/YourUserName/Pictures/iPhotoLibrary. Then right click on this package file and choose 'Show Package Contents'. Warning though, Don't add of subtract anything in there. Do it from iTunes itself because in is a package file and the forks inside of it might get messed up messing around in it.
