Hello,
I tried to run Time Machine today, but it reported that my files were all up to date -- which they were NOT. I had just run VM Fusion so that entire VM should have been marked for backup.
I also had some files on my iMac desktop that I had just created.
Time Machine didn't notice any of these modified files.
I checked the USB drive for errors, and found none. I also unplugged the USB drive and plugged it back in. Same issue....
--------
It wasn't until I rebooted the iMac (i7) that Time Machine then correctly found the 40 GB that had changed.
This "all files backed up" (when they're not) problem seems to be a new problem I'm having with Time Machine.
Can anyone suggest a remedy or identify its likely cause?
Look forward to any suggestions.
Thanks.
