time machine lion to SL?

I was thinking of going back to SL for the time being. Nothing ground breaking. My temps, battery life and apps aren't working or worst then what they were in SL.

So i was thinking of reinstalling SL till all the kinks are fixed.

The question is will i be able to access my time machine backups in SL if i already backup in lion?

I just don't feel like redownloading bunch of apps and files.
