i was having problems with my keychain password and a friend advised me to put in the system install disc to reset passwords. my computer kept messing up and i had to install to get pass the error (panic) screen. the problem is that everything has been cleared, program applications and files. is there a way that i can restore to a couple of days ago and get everything back???
i am not an advanced user and can't type code and so, any information needs to be for the average user.
if i've lost all my stuff i will be very gutted.
hopefully somebody can help
thanks,
richard

Mac OS X Tiger does not have Time Machine. Making it impossible to recover data, unless you had your own personal backup, which you probably don't or this thread would not have any point.
