Time Machine: Mac Mini to MBP?

Simple question: using Yosemite, if I back up my current Mac Mini using Time Machine, then sell the Mac Mini and buy a new MacBook Pro, will I be able to restore everything that was on my Mac Mini (such as apps, documents, photos, settings etc.) to the MacBook Pro?

yup, I've done it myself from airs to pros and the other way around
