Time Machine not booting Time Capsule

Hi

I've recently installed a time capsule with the understanding it would be able to back up multiple Macs (all running leopard)

We have 4 macs to backup to the time capsule, via time machine. The main iMac itel has worked fine. Other macs can see the capsule but after the initial 'preparing' it says the backup will not boot the image and the backup fails

I don't really want to re-set the Capsule as i will loose backup from the first mac

any ideas?? thanks
