I recently attached another internal HD and used Carbon Copy Cloner to clone my drive. A few minutes ago I noticed that time machine was taking an awfully long time to complete, curious I checked - it was backing up 200GB.
Without even asking me deleted 200GB worth of data from my backup and started backing up another HD which I had not asked it to do.
Now I've made sure to add the HD to the 'excluded list' however I wasn't really impressed with the promptless way OSX went about this.
