hi there
i have two macs running in my network, each backing up to a synology nas, worked like a charm for a very long time.
now, since the latest update (dont remember which one) on the macs (not the synology), backups dont finish, they break up in the middle of the process. there is no clear error message. i have tried the usual, disk health check / repair (nothing), booting (of course...)...
strange thing is, it happened to both machines, after updates have been applied, so i would rule out synology (no update there). BUT rebooting the nas helped for a short period.
tonight i was wondering if there is any other impact, and now time machine tells me, oldest backup is from 2nd nov 2020! there should be almost a year of backups in there, and they have been there before.
anybody else experiencing something similar?
cheers
