i moved the files on my 512gb external hd to my 1tb drive and the 1tb files(containing all the backup for my 512gb hd and my macbook pro) to a new 2tb drive.
now, my macbook pro is recognized and backed up correctly. however, when i run time machine the external 1tb hd content is being duplicated! it counts all the files and starts backing them up again as new a new backup!
it doesnt even finish the back up, i get an error without reason saying that its failed to backing up.
any help would be appreciated.
